Spaghetti a la Italiano



Ingredients

Preparation Time: 25 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Serves: 4
200 g spaghetti
½ cup broccoli flowerets
½ yellow bell pepper, cubed
½ red bell pepper, cubed
1 tbsp red cabbage, cubed
1 tbsp cabbage, cubed
½ cup Chinese cabbage, cubed
½ cup capsicum, cubed
1 tbsp corn nibblets
¼ cup prawns (optional)
1 onion, sliced
½ cup spinach leaves
4 tbsp Pizza-Pasta Sauce
2 tbsp Thousand Island Dressing
2 tbsp garlic, chopped
1 tsp paprika
Pinch of oregano
4 tbsp Fortune Rice Bran Health Oil
Pinch of white pepper powder
Salt to taste
Garnish:
½ cup cheese, grated


Method

1.        Heat sufficient water and bring to rolling boil.  Add salt to taste and spaghetti.  Boil till al dente (as per packet instructions) and strain in a colander.  Hold under running water till completely cool.  Add 1 tbsp oil and leave for at least 30 minutes. 
2.       In a shallow non-stick pan, heat remaining oil.  Add garlic and onions.  Sauté on high flame for 30 seconds.  Add broccoli, corn and prawns (if using) and stir fry. 
3.       Add bell peppers, capsicum, all 3 kinds of cabbage and spinach and sauté continuously on high flame till spinach is braised. 
4.       Add seasoning and both Pizza-Pasta sauce and Thousand Island Dressing and mix well on high flame.
5.       Serve on flat dish, garnish and serve hot.
